About This Here Blog
Everybody’s Talking at Once collects the unsolicited thoughts of one Chicago-based freelance writer, whose name is Drew Messinger-Michaels, and who thanks you for stopping by.
In addition to writing, Drew is the Director of Gray Blush Gallery, an online art-space dedicated to increasing access to the art market–for artists, for art-buyers, and for those who would be art-buyers if not for the more intimidating aspects of galleries in general. Our goal is to market art in a manner that is inviting rather than intimidating, and to curate art in a manner that encourages open dialog and participation.
Drew has written for the Chicago arm of The A.V. Club (under the auspices of the rapidly expanding Onion media empire), and for several other online publications. He holds an M.A. from the University of Chicago, and furthermore, he makes a mean matzo ball soup.
Everybody’s Talking at Once is dedicated to the proposition that we should take every aspect of life seriously without ever taking ourselves too seriously.
